What do you think about Blackfoot?
I tried the programme for dog. actually quite good. human grade food, balance we stir fry and eat for dinner. hahaha. But good for doggy also lah. Can tell he like the food. Maybe got to stop giving him scrambled eggs and bacon liao.

Previous Diet?
Hill’s. The vet recommended it…

What do you think about Blackfoot?
So far so good… I’ve only started for about 2 weeks. I guess the biggest change is Xiaotian’s breath. No longer a bad odour. Also, poo poo is noticeably much easier to clean up, which is a big plus because he is a big dog. Not cheap to feed a big dog but I guess his long term health is more important.

Not yet… will be taking the plunge soon as I switch him totally from Hill’s.

Naicha, American Short, 2 years

Naicha

American Short, 2 years

Previous Diet?
Home cooked, canned, dry food

What do you think about Blackfoot?
Programme of Evolutionary Diet has made things a lot more convenient. Just thaw meat one day before, pop into warmer for a few minutes during meal times, open package and serve! I used to have to spend loads of time preparing food when I was doing home cooked. Naicha enjoys the food, and I love that I’m giving her something different each time. Will try the dog programme for my Beagle.

Do you plan to subscribe?
yes. also for dog very soon.

Lihua, Domestic Short, 2 years

Lihua

Domestic Short, 2 years

Previous Diet?
Canned food, Fancy Feast, Eukanuba

What do you think about Blackfoot?
Lihua took more than 5 min before she started trying the food but once she got started, she couldn’t stop. This is the first time I’ve seen my cat finish all her food in one sitting. The fermented bone broth gelatin is a real favourite. Her nose picks up where it is and she goes for it straightaway. I love that I don’t have to give iodine and collagen supplements anymore as they can get expensive after a while. Vet has been very impressed with her improvement the last 2 months as she had been suffering from allergy issues.

Not yet. Will subscribe once the bone broth gelatin is back in stock.

Previous Diet?
IAMS dry cat food, with occasional egg yolk

What do you think about Blackfoot?
I was given the meat cartons as a gift to try out the product. I was surprised by the results. I always thought it was normal for cat poop to stink badly but the smell no longer so bad two days after taking new diet. Eyes became cleaner. Hardly had to clean eye crust anymore. Teeth looks much more pleasant. And GG doesn’t eat as much now. Very cheap, considering only $3 dollars plus a day.

Previous Diet?
Raw, home made according to PMR

What do you think about Blackfoot?
I guess in the end, it is much more convenient to buy a high quality blend such as in the case of Blackfoot. I used to spend too much time mixing organs and meats, bones and supplements. When I had to go back to work, I couldn’t prepare their food as well as I like to. Blackfoot offers a very convenient solution at a price that is almost the same as if I were to be preparing myself. Also, the variety gives my dog what he needs to become a good driver! It would be impossible to have that variety if I prepared myself, nor would such variety be possible if I’m buying other brands.

Duchess

Mini Dachshund, 2 years

Previous Diet?
Japanese canned food and the occasional cake

What do you think about Blackfoot?
Duchess has always been a picky eater so it was very surprising she accepted the raw food straightaway. She loves the fermented fish stock. Real beautiful stock, all collagen. But no more stock when I wanted to reorder. I am very happy she looks forward to her meals during meal time now.

Meat packs. Yes. Waiting for fermented fish stock collagen.

Mei Qi, Persian, 8 years

Mei Qi

Persian, 8 years

Previous Diet?
Home cooked.

What do you think about Blackfoot?
Mei Qi, has always been a pig. She eats a lot. Too much of anything. She’ll even scavenge the rubbish bin or drag out whatever from the fridge when she manages to sneak in when I’m cooking. After being on Blackfoot Raw for weeks, her appetite has gone down considerably, always eating only during meal times. It seems like she is a lot more satisfied on a balanced raw food diet. A lot of relief for us too since she doesn’t jump onto the table anymore when we are eating. Also she lost quite a bit of fat which is good.

Prefer not to say

What do you think about Blackfoot?
Programme of Evolutionary Diet for Cats. Very very satisfied with the meat packs. There is a great variety in there so my fussy eater doesn’t have reason to reject her dinner anymore. Aires was previously on a raw diet, but I find Blackfoot’s programme a lot more balanced and I love that they have great variety. I also tried their fermented bone broth collagen. The cats love it. They always go for that first and it’s such great probiotic for them, especially Aires, who always has a sensitive tummy.

Definitely.

Previous Diet?
Previously, Khan was on Purina Pro Plan. We had nothing to complain until our cousin got us to try Blackfoot.

What do you think about Blackfoot?
Barely 2 weeks after trying meat cartons for cats we noticed the difference. Khan’s fur feels much softer and his stool volume gradually decreased. We save quite a bit on cat litter now. It’s barely more expensive than Purina at around $3 a day. And I can definitely feel my cat healthier and more affectionate towards me, and more excited during meal times!

A definite yes!

Boreas, Border Collie, 7 years

Boreas

Previous Diet?
Pedigree Adult. Apparently this is the brand that show dogs eat…

What do you think about Blackfoot?
Blackfoot rocks. I noticed improvements very quickly. For one, there is less shedding, not sure if I’m imagining this. Boreas sheds quite a bit usually. What I love most is the poo has decreased in volume. Boreas is a large dog and it’s good to be able to pick up a small, firm, poop, instead of the huge splat of mushy stuff that leaves traces on the grass. I would  be trying their fermented bone broth collagen in my next order.

Do you plan to subscribe?
Yes. 7 months and counting.

Akasha, Siberian Cat, 8 months

Akasha

Siberian Cat, 8 months

Previous Diet?
Always been on raw since Shasha’s been eating solid food.

What do you think about Blackfoot?
What can I say, of course they rock because I formulated them. The downside is that the diet’s got Shasha so healthy she’s bursting with energy every day to annoy the hell out of me. But I guess every cat parent at some stage has resigned to this fate.
