Probiotic Bovine Colostrum

With goat’s milk and kefir

Bovine Colostrum

Our lactose-reduced bovine colostrum is one of the best in the market. It comes from the first milkings of USDA certified grade A, pasture-raised dairy cows. Lab-tested: 25-30% immunoglobulins. 1.5% lactoferrin. 1.5% growth factors. 3.5-5% colostrum polypeptides. Rejuvenates even humans. It truly rocks.

Goat’s Milk

Not the powdered stuff from tins, this is fresh goat’s milk that comes straight from the local farm. Low in lactose, goat’s milk is one of the earliest superfoods known to man. The lactose feeds the probiotic microbes, and the remaining nutrients are left to your pet.

Used to ferment our colostrum, kefir is a far more potent source of probiotic than Greek yoghurt or any other live foods. Kefir gives our colostrum up to 61 strains of microbes, making it antibacterial, anti-pathogens, as well as boosting the immune system.

Medicinal Mushrooms

For centuries, various cultures around the world have used mushrooms for medicinal purposes. Modern research backs up what ancient healers and scientists learned through practical experience — studies indicate that medicinal mushrooms (MMs) have anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-tumor properties. Some mushrooms contain compounds that stimulate the immune system, and assist healing of the liver, kidneys, and heart tissues. Medicinal mushrooms can also support diarrhea, urinary tract infections, and inflammation.

The powerful three: Reishi, Maitake, Shiitake (creates synergistic immune benefits together) **Medicinal mushrooms should be paired with Vitamin C to improve absorption manifolds.

Cordyceps (Caterpillar Mushrooms)

Increases fitness, anti-aging, anti-tumor, anti-diabetic, improves heart health, lowers LDL (bad cholesterol), and fights inflammation. Supports liver and purifies kidney. Helps with leaky gut and respiratory problems, including asthma.

Reishi, Lingzi (Herb of Immortality)

Regulates the immune system, fights cancer cells and promotes healing. Also, alleviates anxiety, eases depression and encourages better sleep. Improves respiratory functions.

They control skin aging, may slow or prevent the growth of cancer and reduces LDL, the bad cholesterol. Also alleviates autoimmune diseases, allergies and IBD.

Maitake (Dancing Mushroom)

Supports immune system, protects the liver, lowers cholesterol, regulates blood sugar and insulin levels.

Shiitake (Elixir of life)

Boosts immune system, lowers cholesterol. Has anticancer, anti-viral and anti-bacteria effects. Mitigate toxins.

Vitamin C

Sea Buckthorn

Other than providing a host of benefits like skin health and omega 3, sea buckthorn is a superb source of vitamin C: 8 to 16 times more than orange. Vitamin C is vital for nutrient absorption like medicinal mushrooms and iron as well as for building collagen and muscles. Also important for immune health.

Collagen is the most prevalent protein in the body. It holds the body together. Collagen is your joints, connective tissues, ligaments and cartilage. It is your skin, nails and hair. Collagen is your teeth dentin, the eyes’ lens, the inner ear, the vocal cords, the cell’s lattice. It makes up 50% of our internal organs. Collagen is the digestive lining, the lining of veins and arteries and the blood brain barrier. Collagen is the fluid that lubricates the joints and eyes, repairs enamel and mineralises bones. Never forget supplementing with collagen.

Type I (Fish head)

Supports skin elasticity. Helps formation of bones and wound healing. Rich in iodine and omega-3. Most bioavailable of all the collagen.

Type II (Chicken feet)

Supports bones and joints. Builds and repairs cartilage. Reduces arthritic, swelling and  joint pain.

Type III (Beef marrow)

Essential for nerve and blood vessel function. Strengthens blood vessels and heart tissues. Supports liver, lungs and arteries health.

Seaweeds are among the oldest life forms. They can improve our pets’ energy levels, boost the immune system, maintain coat and skin health and support the thyroid glands, among other benefits. Seaweeds even contain all the trace minerals essential for good health – no land plant can come close. As seaweeds live in a hostile, changing environment, with changes in temperature, oxidative state, bashed by waves and stones, they have evolved many organic chemical compounds such as fucoidan and fucoxanthin to protect themselves. Studies have shown that these compounds can be anti-tumor, anti-HIV anti-viral, antiproliferative, antimutagenic, effective in treating cancer and a great range of other maladies. Get a range of brown, red and blue-green seaweeds for greater synergy.

Fucoidan (Brown algae)

Boosts immune system, lowers inflammation, reduces high blood pressure. Fucoidan Also exhibits anti-arthritic, anti-viral and anti-ulcer properties. In advanced cancer patients, fucoidan enabled patients to regulate fatigue and reduce levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines.

Fucoxanthin (Brown algae)

Corrects abnormalities in glucose metabolism which can help diabetics. Might reduce cholesterol levels and triglycerides. Reduces blood pressure and liver fat stores and enzymes.

Dulse (Red algae)

Lowers blood pressure, prevents thyroid disorders, strengthens nervous systems and Improves blood circulation.

Spirulina (Blue green algae)

Anti-inflammatory. Lowers LDL, controls blood sugar, prevents cancer, lowers blood pressure. Helps allergic rhinitis, anaemia, malnutrition and patients with auto-immune Diseases. Supports brain and cardiovascular health. High bioavailability.

Sea Nutrients

Strictly speaking, these are not nutrients exclusive to the sea but these are nutrients that are often lacking in raw diets which can be plugged easily with our seafood pack. However, if your pet refuses seafood due to preferences, these are the supplements you should be looking at to ensure there is no long term deficiency.

Vitamin D3

Regulates the calcium and phosphate from food, strengthens bones and muscles. Boosts immunity and improves mood. Reduces inflammation and heart function.

Magnesium Taurate

Magnesium is required in traces for hundreds of biochemical reactions in the body which boosts physical performance, improves moods, support healthy blood sugar levels and promotes heart health. It is also anti-inflammatory. Taurine is essential especially for cats for proper functions of heart and eyes. A deficiency could lead to death within weeks for cats.

Mussels are rich in manganese and helps the body form connective tissue, bones, and blood clotting factors. It also plays a role in fat and carbo metabolism, calcium absorption, and blood sugar regulation. Manganese is also necessary for normal brain and nerve functions.

Oysters are high in zinc. Like manganese, raw diets can often be deficient in this mineral. Zinc is essential for cell growth, immune function, DNA synthesis and protein production. Zinc may also reduce inflammation, boost immune health, Speed wound healing and improve acne symptoms.

Unlike fish oils which oxidises very easily, krill is a stable source of omega 3. Omega 3 Lowers blood pressure, reduces triglycerides and slows the development of plaque in the arteries. It also reduces the odds of abnormal heart rhythm, heart attack and stroke. To add to that, krill is rich in astaxanthin, a powerful form of anti-inflammatory.

Animals have been using plants for healing purposes for centuries. It is from observing wild animals that humans learned the healing benefits of plants. Wild gorillas and chimpanzees know to select specific plants to use against parasites. Herbs grow everywhere – in the wild, on the sides of roads – where there is nature, herbs can be found. While herbs can alleviate illnesses, they can also be used to maintain health and prevent diseases.

Improves awareness and cognitive functions. Reduces inflammation and lessens pain, especially from arthritis. Lessens risk of heart disease, helps prevent cancer. Also regulates blood sugar and viral infections. Alleviates irritable bowel disease. Pair this with piperine to improve absorption by several times over.

Extracted from black pepper, piperine promotes liver health and is a potent form of anti-inflammatory. Regulates insulin level and most importantly, makes turmeric much more bioavailable.

MCT (Medium-chain triglycerides)

Fights bacterial growth and protects the heart. Manages diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. MCT is a good foundation of a ketogenic diet which has been shown to manage or curb seizures or epilepsy.

Milk Thistle

Protects the liver, prevents age-related decline in brain function. Improves cancer treatments. Boosts milk production as well as help treat acne.

Astragalus Root

Commonly used with other herbs, astragalus may help with upper and lower respiratory infections, allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome. Also supports patients with chronic kidney disease.

Form of fibre, good for preventing hairballs. Form of prebiotics. Regulates blood sugar.

Alleviates and prevents urinary tract infections. Rich in antioxidants. Supports heart health, lowers blood pressure.

Polygonum resveratrol (Longevity Essence)

The two oldest cats (Rex, aged 34 and Creme Puff, aged 38) in the world were raised by the same person. His secret ingredient was an eyedropper full of red wine to ‘circulate’ the arteries. It’s likely down to the wine’s resveratrol, a polyphenol in grapes and berries which helped. Polygonum also helps with anti-inflammation, c ardiovascular health and boosts mental alertness.
